The meaning of Kung Fu
Kung fu means something like 'to work hard, focused and skilful'. So, whenever somebody works hard on a task, exercise or problem one can say that this person has kung fu. Also for example when you work hard in your office to solve a problem or you study extremely focused for school or university or you train hard for any sport then this means you have a lot of kung fu (in) doing so.
Wu Shu is the better expression to name Chinese boxing, which is what people mean when they say Kung Fu.
